Caytie Matta is a public health professional with broad experience in international health, project management, and communications. Caytie graduated from Bucknell University with a BA in Sociology and Spanish and earned a Masters in Public Health, focused on health behavior and health education, from the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina.Caytie has provided management and technical oversight for health programs focused on HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, reproductive health, and health system strengthening in Africa, Central Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. She also has experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating communication strategies for project level efforts and broader behavior change initiatives. Caytie also has extensive experience in strategizing, writing, and reviewing technical content for grant and contract proposals.
Currently an independent consultant within the domestic and international health landscapes, Caytie welcomes the opportunity to employ her international expertise to support Connect Rwanda’s initiatives and growth.
