Partner School Apacope

Connect Rwanda is proud to have the APACOPE school as a partner. APACOPE, (Association of Parents for the Contribution and Promotion of Education) is located in the Muhima district in downtown Kigali (the capital of Rwanda). They are a nursery through 10th-grade school (Primary-Secondary) with approximately 1,300 students and 70 teachers. They have a modern campus, and now have two separate internet networks that keep the campus connected.  Their embrace of technology has seen impressive results. Standardized test scores in 2014 were in the 40% range when Connect Rwanda started.  Today, APACOPE scores in the mid 90% range in their standardized tests. APACOPE has credited Connect Rwanda with much of this success, but we recognize APACOPE’s hard work and openness to change as the real catalyze for their improvement.
